Storm Damage - Knoxville Home
Storm damage occurred when a bad Knoxville storm blew a tree branch through a window of this home when the family was on vacation. A considerable amount of rain was allowed to enter and accumulate on the flooring in this room. The water managed to seep through to the concrete subfloor which required drying. We needed to take up the wood flooring to effectively dry the concrete pad. The walls were not severely damaged, but the baseboards had absorbed quite a lot of moisture, so they needed replacing. The before picture shows the array of equipment used to mitigate the water damage. We used industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid the drying phase of the project.
